Driver Subscription Program – Michigan Department of State

- Initial driver check is $7.00 for potential new hires
- Cost is $7.00 per driver per year for additional driver check
- Each time a driver on your list receives a citation, they will send the information to you for an additional cost of $7.00 per occurrence.
- No cost for company set-up
- Invoiced monthly for records receivedYou must call the State to receive and sign an agreement before you can receive the MVRs.
- Requests are responded to in 24-48 hours. The MVR will either be mailed or faxed to you. You get to choose your preferred method when you sign up.

An option is available to go on-line and order the MVR directly from the State of Michigan website. The MVR is returned to you immediately. This option requires the posting of a $25,000 Information or Purchasers Bond– the cost of this bond is usually between $250 and $500. You will still be charged $7.00 for each record each time, the only difference is the resulting MVR is returned to you immediately.
